Lurg: in pequannock valley area people are comparing this to katrina floods, talking 3 feet of water... INSIDE the houses

Lurg: for once im glad im currently living in the mountains

Lurg: Rivers are 20' above flood level where i used to live a few months ago, and still haven't crested. this is the worst flood in like 25 years here

Lurg: far as cutting up fish from the fish market... 2 things to check. 1) clear eyes not bloodshot on the fish. and 2) it shouldnt smell fishy. Should be clean smelling

Lurg: i live in the mountains. gotta drive out to somewhere along the shoreline for fresh fish but the indiginous is alll carp and bluefish. Neither is good raw. Though trout fishing is good north of me, but im too lazy for that.

Sakuranbo: don't you have like a port near where you live? In most ports there's fishermen, and usually they have fresh seafood for sale early in the mornings.
